Default Faded Old Fiberglass Boat - TRANSFORMED!

Chuck,
Since you are expressing your opinion on Skipper's boat ownership and
experience. Do you believe Harry actually owns this infamous Lobster Boat,
who the only person who ever saw the boat was a new poster who was using
Harry's IP, and disappeared as soon as someone pointed out Harry's sock
puppet.

Since you question Skipper's salt water experience, don't you also question
Harry's claim to have sailed the "Cape" (Horn) a number of times?

I've never seen any claim by Harry that he has sailed around the horn
one or more times.
Not to say it hasn't been made- but if it has I have not seen it and I
therefore have no opinion. Millions of people have sailed around the
horn, no reason that a poster to the NG may not have done so. Does
Harry continually berate others for lack of specific round-the-horn
experience? If so, I've missed that. (He has berated people for other
issues, yes).

I know where there's a big yellow, mid channel buoy with a fog signal
built in.
I suppose I could motor out to the middle of the sound, do a few
circles around the buoy, and claim to have boated around the "horn",
but what would be the point? My boating adventures aren't the world's
most exciting, nor do they need to be for boating to be fun- which is
what this is all about.

As far as the 36-foot lobster boat goes: I would bet big money that
Harry owns his Parker.
Even one of his regional neighbors, John H, (who is no great fan of
Harry) confirms that he owns that boat. I would bet less money on the
lobster boat, only because Harry has been less than forthcoming with
any real details about the boat. He has claimed its because he is po'd
at Skipper and Skipper is demanding the information. As one who shares
Psuedo's Schidt List with Mr. Krause, I'm in a unique position to
appreciate that perspective. There are some guys to whom you'd hesitate
to offer a drink of water if you were crossing a desert in a tanker
truck and they were alongside the roadway dying of thirst. Me, I'd be
all grumpy about it but I'd probably give him some water. Can't speak
for Harry, however. :-)

Conclusion: I have no doubt that Harry owns the Parker. I am not
entirely convinced that Harry has more than some partial interest in a
Lobster boat- but I could be wrong, and it doesn't matter anyway.

I've never seen any claim by Harry that he has sailed around the horn

Krause made that claim 8 years ago in this NG. I thought at the time
that he might have sailed around the horn of *Floriduh* and was being
'cute' with his words again. But he was backed into a corner about his
claim and stood by his claim of sailing 'round THE Horn a "couple"
times. Later, we learned by engaging him in discussions about this area
that he never even did the horn of Floriduh...even once!

My boating adventures aren't the world's most exciting, nor do they need to
be for boating to be fun- which is what this is all about.

Then why do you belittle the real boating adventures of others?

Skipper KNOWS Krause does not have that lobster boat. He's just tugging
on Krause's chain. Krause is like some others in this NG who cannot
admit a lie...if you know what I mean, Chucky.

You know, I'd bet most of the NG could detect the truth of our meetings
in Seattle based on both our statements. You have yet to come clean on
any of your (let's just call them misstatements). That Burger story is a
good example of illuminating the truth. It would seem most would
remember donating a pair of shoes to an oil spurting engine.
