I'm not sure this directly concerns you, JimH- snip

Sure it does. Did you already forget your whopper of a lie when you
repeatedly accused me of being Skipper?

Let me assist you with one of the subtleties of the English laguage:

There is a difference between a lie and an observation:

snip

It was indeed an observation........at first.

However it soon became a lie when facts were presented to you that it could
not me yet you continued with the story.

So why not put this crap to rest and call the real Skipper?

So why don't you Chuck?

Besides, even if it is Dave Mann, (and it could be), he was never
anything but a Psuedo Skipper in the first place

Ahh, the old Chuckie spins begins. I knew it would eventually surface.
How funny.

You seem to overlook the fact that when presented with evidence one has
the right to weigh that evidence against conflicting evidence and reach
an independent conclusion. When a jury renders a verdict that you
disagree with, do you refer to the jurors as "liars"?

So why not put this crap to rest and call the real Skipper?

1) I no longer have Skipper's phone number. To the best of my
recollection, I met with Skipper in 1999 and again in 2000. I don't
keep junk contact information for 5-6 years. I was doing some stuff on
switchboard.com last week
and I got an "unlisted" hit for Dave Mann in Derby, KS. I can't blame
the guy, he makes enemies for a hobby.

2) I have nothing to say to Dave Mann. If he is indeed the culprit
behind the current wave of attack posts, I have less than nothing to
say to him.

3) I do have your phone number, Jim. Don't hover over the phone waiting
for it to ring. :-)

Then again, there is some "evidence" that Dave Mann died in Kansas back
in 2004. I though about posting the obituary here, but as you know that
would create some complications on the East Coast. :-)

Now, if Dave is indeed alive and well, I wonder where all those
contributions to the Dave Mann Memorial Fund are going?

My favorite photo on the site is the weasly little shameful pose in the
lower right hand corner. Any guy that fakes his own death to set up a
memorial fund
probably does want to stay as far out of sight as possible.

(OK. I'm just kidding around here. Different Cave Mann, but it's a
funny coincidence.)

Spin it any way you want Chuck. The bottom line is that it switched from
observation to lie after facts were presented.

Then email him and request it from him. Perhaps others here still have it
and could email it to you.

It took about 5 seconds to Google up Skippers address and phone number. What
kind of game do you suppose Chuck Gould is playing?

You want a piece of this too? Figures.

My "game token":

(Cut 'n Paste from switchboard.com)

Sorry, we were unable to find the person you requested.

Please try any of the following:

Check the spelling of the person's name, city, and state.
Broaden your search by entering less information (ex. just enter last
name)
If you are unsure of the spelling of the last name, enter just the
first few letters (in this case, omit the first name).
Dave Mann - Current Unlisted Phone Numbers & Address Found
Information was found in Public Records, including Age, Address History
and Family Members.

Cut 'n paste ends.

Choke on it.

If you found his phone number someplace, that's great. What would I
possibly have to say to this guy? Maybe you should call him, Florida
Jim. You seem to have a lot more in common with him.

Hardly. Jim and Skipper were not exactly drinking buddies.

Chuck,
Try using whitepages, it seems to work, but please don't choke on anything.

For crying out loud. It isn't rocket science Chuck:

========================================
Hello, is Dave Mann there? Hi Dave, this is Chuck Gould.

insert general conversation.

Anyway, the reason I am calling is to find out if it is really you who is
posting on rec.boats.
========================================

Mystery solved one way or another.

For giggles I did a People Search on Yahoo for David Mann, Derby, KS. about
a week ago. I got an return showing an active telephone number and address.
