We're here....

Converting a former bait shop to a Merc shop. Then building a new powerhead
for the PM-II

Busy is an understatement.....

You're still going to sell bait though, right?

Only if someone teaches me about bait. I don't fish, never have.

What is used for bait? How does one obtain it wholesale? Does one
refrigerate or freeze it?

What you do is you get one of those small refrigerators. You contact a
nightcrawler supplier, put up a sign and that's about it. I tend to
like the Catawba brand nightcrawlers myself. They last for weeks in
the fridge. I have kept some for almost 6 months once. (They were left
over from the last fishing trip of the season and survived until
spring) So there is very little overhead and almost nothing to do as
far as upkeep. If you start selling minnows it gets more involved and
may not be worth your effort. But worms are good. They will get
fishermen into your business that would not have came otherwise.
Especially on lakes that don't have very many marinas.
