'97 Volvo 3.0 motor

Looking at a 1997 Glastron SE175 (2000 lbs) with a 3.0 (4 cylinder) Volvo
SX Cobra sterndrive. Does this model have the power to lift a heavy skier
with several passengers on board? Other comments?
