Default I own a 24' U-Haul !! hehe

1988 143,000 miles. GMC 6000 series. Gas. Big block Chevy in it.

Paid $3500 for it, as is.

It needs a couple light bulbs, exhaust donuts, and the AC don't seem to
work.

Brakes are good, tires fair.

Throttle was set so it could only do 55. We fixed that.

The only "disturbing" problem it has is a small coolant leak at the left
front corner of the intake manifold. A buddy and I are gonna try to tighten
it up a bit there and switch to a 5lb cap. If that don't slow it down
some - we *might* pull the intake and re-gasket. We might not too....

When I get to S.C. - it's going up on Ebay for 4k assuming it's still A-OK.
$4500 if we have to do that intake.

7 mpg if you get into the throttle, 11 if you are *very* nice to it.

That would be 1,143,000 miles, and that's just since U-Haul did the last
oil change!

Why switch to a 5 lb radiator cap (I assume you are referring to the
radiator)?

At the lower pressure your radiator will boil over at a much lower
temperature. If you don't swap out the thermostat to a much lower
temperature model you may make matters worse instead of better.
