The golden Rod is designed to be plugged in all the time. Is a sealed low
wattage heater. Is not like leaving a space heater or light bulb burning.
As to plugged in all the time, do you unplug all the lamps in your house
as well as the radio everytime you leave?


I seem to remember heated dipstick replacements that would keep the oil in
your engine warm, thus transferring some of that heat to the engine block.
Is the Golden Rod similar to this?
