A friend of mine got the tongue on his trailer modified so he can pull a pin and swing the tongue back onto itself. This allows the trailer to fit in the garage and has the bonus feature of being lockable to prevent a thief from hitching it up. I wonder what that cost? I was planning to have that type of tongue when I ordered my new galvanized trailer, but it might be worthwhile to modify my old one until I trade it in. |
