Eisboch,
I don't think Bush is a dummy, but it does make a good joke.

See if I said "A reporter asked Eisboch ..... "

it just would not have been as funny.

Yeah, but because Bush butchers the English language so much, it seemed
more appropriate.

So did his father. And he was no dummy.
So do I, as a matter of fact.

But of course ......

Eisboch

I read today that a reporter asked Bush what he thought about Rowe vs.
Wade.

Good joke..... been around for years in various forms.

But, umm, isn't it *Roe* v. Wade? Nobody seemed to pick up on that.

I voted for him, still support him, and would be the first to admit that he
can be a really goofy sumbitch when speaking. I'll bet he'd get a kick out
of that joke, too.

You still support him? 1800+ Americans dead and 10,000+ wounded, not to
mention some 30,000 innocent Iraquis, for an illegal war based on lies that
has decreased our security and vastly increased the number of terrorists
that want to do us harm. Terrorist winning in Iraq due to US incompentence.
Federal deficit thru the roof while rich people get huge tax breaks.
Environment raped. Science ignored in public policy. American citizens
arrested and imprisoned without charges. Prisoners tortured with approval
from the white house. Billions in taxpayer $$ given to Halliburton and other
corporations. Endless lies without any protest from the right-wingers.
Incompetents like Brownie appointed to vital positions because of political
influence.

You still support Bush?

Why? Don't you care about this country?

Yes.

Very much so... which is why I support the Republican party. Actually, if
the Libertarians could field a decent slate and had broader support, I'd
probably head that direction. As it stands, I want my vote to count, and Big
Brother Government and Uncle Taxman need to stay out of my pocket. In
addition, the only thing the extremist Muslims understand is macho force, so
bringing it to em was a great idea.

Disagree? I don't give a ****. Have a nice day.

I agree, it is funny. However, you could just as easily make it a joke
about the mayor or the governor.

No, you couldn't. Roe v Wade is a national issue. Bush is a national
issue. The mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana are local
issues. It wouldn't be funny if it wasn't about Bush.

Wade.

He said he really didn't care how they did it, as long as they got out
of
New Orleans.

The mayor and governor have become national issues. Their incompetence has
heightened the disaster.

Yes, but they are not perceived as callous and uncaring; just incompetent.

That is because a stupid press has ignored that fact. Nagin, I understand
has already bought a house in Dallas, and moved his family there. That is
caring?
