I have a 26' Penn Yan Tunnel hull and I am refinishing the exterior wood, handrails, swim platform, exposed top, etc. It is either teak or Mogohany but I don't know how to tell which it is. Any suggestions? I was going to assume it is teak and use a teak restore. If it becomes appaernt that is not working I was going to sand it and refinish it as if it was Mahogony.

I have literature that allows me to tell what wood I am dealing with. A
trip to the bookstore is in order. Might cost you $25 but it will boost your credibility!!!:-) Tom gvetter ) wrote: : I have a 26' Penn Yan Tunnel hull and I am refinishing the exterior : wood, handrails, swim platform, exposed top, etc. It is either teak or : Mogohany but I don't know how to tell which it is.
