Default Evinrude 3HP???

I'm about to go look at a '96 Evinrude 3HP motor with the objective of
possibly buying it.
Can someone shed some light on this engine, such as:
Is it a single cylinder or two?
When did production of the 3HP _Evinrude_ stop? Today I see only Johnsons.
What is the gas/oil ratio?
Anything unique about this particular year/model I need to be aware of?
What other questions should I have asked?

TIA

=================================
I have a '93 Evinrude 4 HP, I didn't know they made one smaller than
that. Mine is a two cylinder and runs very smoothly for trolling. If
this one you're looking at is a 3 HP, then its probably a single cyl.
motor. I use a 50/1 oil ratio and thats by the book. Production on
Evinude probably stopped when OMC got in trouble a few years ago. For
most practical purposes, Evinrude and Johnson are about the same
engine.

Good luck, Norm
