![]() "Bryan" wrote in message .. . Do I want a rearview mirror for my boat? It seems like a good idea to see the folks I'm towing while I'm watching traffic in front, but I don't see any boats with rearview mirrors. What's the scoop on this? Thanks Bryan Sea Ray 185 "Doug Kanter" wrote in message ... It's just one more thing to get in the way of fishing poles and ropes, or to get broken when the boat's rocking and you think it's solid enough to grab onto. When towing people behind the boat, you really should have another person in the boat with you. I do have a spotter on the boat; it's the law here. I was thinking it would be easier to keep an eye on the kids when they are being dragged behind the boat on the tube (not the skis or wakeboard) so that I know how my steering is effecting their activity. It seems reasonable, but the absence of mirrors made me wonder; maybe everyone who tried one quit after breaking it as you suggest. |
