It's just one more thing to get in the way of fishing poles and ropes, or to
get broken when the boat's rocking and you think it's solid enough to grab
onto. When towing people behind the boat, you really should have another
person in the boat with you.

It seems like a good idea to see the folks I'm towing while I'm watching
traffic in front, but I don't see any boats with rearview mirrors.
