Doug, I go to Cuba for my winter vacations and I have been doing this for years. The boating there is spectacular! The fishing is out of this world! My government has no problem with my travels to Cuba. The Cubans welcome me every trip there. It is the government of the USA that does not permit me to take my boat there if I leave from a US port. My boat is a Canadian Registered Vessel. I am a Canadian Citizen. This year I will leave from Grand Cayman on my annual vacation. It's too bad that your government is so backwards in it's foreign policy. You would love a trip to Cuba. ( Boating Content ) I'd go just for the la musica Cubana! |
