I can't tell you how many people in over 30 years of boating that by lending a fellow boater a hand had turned there day into a better experience. Sometimes a shot or 2 of starting fluid was all they needed. Today, besides the starting fluid, I carry an extra long set of jumper cables. Between the starting fluid and jumper cables, I was able to help a few stranded boaters get back to dock. I also carry a 100' 1/2" tow line. I have towed some back in too. Though many people have offered me money for helping them, we always refuse. Our (my wife is always with me) standard answer is "If you ever have a chance, return the favor to someone else". Good luck, let us know what the real problem was. Regards, SOB Thanks for the reply. The starter fluid didn't help unfortunatly, a fellow boater tried that and it didn't work. ![]() extra cheap starter battery I picked up on sale ( 5 whole dollars) to give to someone if they need it, good for one shot probably but if it helps some one............. And as soon as I find out the problem I will post it here, maybe someone else may have the problem and know what to look for. Thanks again Bill |
