Supposedly it sprays water on the upper unit of the out drive as you go along in the water. Any one ever use one of these things? Are they worth the money? If I get one its for a 05 alpha 1 3.0l Thanks Steve Never heard of it. Is it supposed to keep it clean or what? -- John H. On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD Oh. When I read the ad, I wondered, "What tests?" Tests have shown that cooling with a drive shower can double the outdrive life and service life of the drive oil by lowering the operating temperature by a minimum of 30% They didn't cite the tests though. I've never felt the top of my outdrive, but I can't imagine that it would get hot enough to need water splashing on it. I'll check it out next time I'm out. Should be interesting. -- John H.
