Have you not heard of a foreaft deck? You must be a landlubber. The
foreaft deck is that portion of the aft deck which is most forward. Geeeez
Doug, get with it.

My GF is doing a Windjammer cruise with one of her lady friends. They
arrived at the boat yesterday, late afternoon, to load luggage, get
settled. Went into town for dinner and apparently a few cocktails. She
called later, with her friend at her side, both laughing. She finally
calmed down enough to describe the boat. She said they commented to the
captain that it was hot in their cabin. They'd both brought sleeping bags
because they might go camping afterwards. So, in her words, "He said it
was OK to sleep on the foreaft deck". More laughter.

Everyone write that one down. Foreaft deck. Stay tuned. I'm sure there'll
be more. :-) They went booze shopping in town.

Tonight's report: They learned the true meaning of "3 sheets to the wind",
but they were debating the imagery.

Bryan,

Thanks. I've got it now. What was I thinking? Back to the Chapman's with
me.
