Thanks for the input guys. I was just put off initially by the amount
of negativity I got from my first post. I could understand a response
of "That's probably not the best deal, but hey good luck" instead of
something to the effect of "You'd have to be an idiot to buy that
POS." It's a budget boat, I accept going into the deal that there
will be issues. I'm used to high maintenance activities. I'm getting
out of riding motocross and figure the cost of maintaining a modern MX
bike, paying race entry fees, paying for gas to haul the bike to
tracks in other states, isn't too far out of line with maintaining a
boat. You may think that is BS, but if you know the sport, you would
probably agree.

Either way, my butt is going to be out on the lake this weekend having
a blast! Money...easy come, easy go.

As for the soft floor, don't most boats eventually require some
repairs to the floor? It doesn't seem like it should be too terribly
hard to do.

As for the transom, I'm honestly not sure exactly what part of the
boat is. Is that the flat aft section of the hull? Am I to
understand that it is entirely made of wood? Pretty bad newbie
question I know...but I gotta start somewhere. Everything I know
about boats I've learned in the last week on the internet, so it aint
much!
