Lots of ISP's strip the binary attachments to text groups. Post in
alt.binaries.pictures.fishing and post a notice. "Shortwave Sportfishing" wrote in message ... On Sat, 30 Jul 2005 21:27:04 -0400, HarryKrause wrote: Shortwave Sportfishing wrote: Fascinating. Still ain't no such thing. You can post it and it will post through. What the individual servers do with them isn't the point. |

So, those of us with Cox missed out. What's a good news server that doesn't strip the binaries? I've always used Easynews, but I just did a little research and it would appear that some do strip binaries from text groups. I apologize to all - all these years on Usenet and I wasn't aware of that. Oh well. :) |

Is that your house in the background? Nice boat, nice house. I like the one with the porch. Note that Don used a third party to include a photo URL. You posted your photo as an attachment. Big difference. I'm pretty sure the news servers I use will not accept binaries, period, but, of course, will accept URLs. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...h/yohosol1.jpg Yeah, but I had to strip the IMG off before I could get the image. Ok....enough for now. :) |
