ANYBODY who believes that statement is just plain ignorant enough to
fall hook, line, and sinker for Bush's propaganda.

You've got to admit that holding such a belief sure keeps life simple,
though. That probably suits Bert just fine. Otherwise, he'd have to expend
calories thinking about the mistakes this country has made, and continues to
make.

Careful with your anti-military commentary.

Other than showing his guys how to get 3 purple hearts for minor wounds,

he
does not seem to have inspired his men.

How did GWB inspire his men?

He at least was elected to governor of Texas 2x and then president. Just
because Kerry was an officer on a PBR, does not mean he could lead. Means
he got stuck there. I had a major in the USAF Reserves who was totally
incompetent. Favorite comment was "Brief Me." When the unit was called up
for the Pueblo crises, he was sent down. He could not lead anybody, but was
in charge of the a section of the electronics part of the wing.

The only place Bush is leading us is straight to perdition. You really
ought to switch party affiliations, Bill.

So.....using your exact same argument, because a person has political
clout (money, family) in Texas, doesn't make him necessarily any more
capable of leading, than the major you spoke of. Thank you for making
the point that Bush may not be the leader you, and other lemmings had
hoped for.

I ought to get more active in the Democrat party along with other moderates
and toss the frigg'n ultra libs out. Put up a decent candidate and they get
my vote. Kerry is such a poor choice, that even with the Iraq problems, and
a very liberal press telling us that the sky is falling, Kerry's numbers are
still poor.
