Near Atlanta? Double blech. Sorry. Ever been to P'tree City? Really nice place. Mill Valley, CA? Hehehe. Of all the places in California I find appealing, Mill Valley ain't one of them. NOWHERE in the Bay Area is livable. Again, this list wasn't compiled to cater to a certain demographic such as boaters or fishers. I see you have never been to Mill Valley. I sure as hell have! While going to school, I worked part time for an architect that lived in Mill Valley, spent a lot of time there. Too many people with there collective noses stuck in the air, trying to act better than everyone else, all the while in horrible debt trying to keep up with the Joneses. I did not know Mill Valley was in Georgia or Pennsylvania. And Mill Valley is old money. |

I lived in the Bay Area for almost 2 totally miserable years. Yuck. People swarming like damned killer bees, horrible traffic, dry as hell, too many people with their collective noses in the air, and that air is horribly polluted, have to be careful where you drive, you might get car-jacked or killed for whatever pittance is in your wallet, and the list goes on. Been going to Richmond lately to participate in the killings that happen therer almost daily? Another fun thing, take BART to a Raiders game, instead of getting off the train and walking to the stadium, take a left....nice place, huh? The only good thing that came out of the Bay Area, other than my wife and in-laws (some of them, anyway) is Casper's hot dogs. Well, there are some good eats in S.F. proper, and a place in Lafayette that has a hell of a brunch. |
