Default What color to paint boat trailer

I have a small 17' boat trailer I'm going to paint but I'm not sure if I
should paint it white, red or black. Is one any better than the other
for any reason?

Hmm...

Black will get awfully hot in the sun
White will get very dirty
Red is an awful color on a trailer ;-)

No, I wouldn't think any color is better than another.
It's the paint type, quality and preparation that matters.

Paint it the color you like best. White is a good color to resist fading.

Pink! No one will ever steal it!

Personally I like black. It looks good, doesn't show the dirt, and puts the
focus on the boat.

Only think I don't like is it doesn't stand out. I have lights & running
lights on the side, but
this past weekend I needed to park it for a while at night on a street in
the Boston area.
I was somewhat worried that people would not see it because It's black and
is not as
tall as a car. (The boat was not on it). But that is a very unusual
situation.

I'd paint it screaming yellow to match my Mustang.

Pink, because it's a color I wouldn't paint mine!

But if your Mustang were painted red it would go faster......why do you
think they paint fire trucks red? ;-)
