You're dealing with someone who needs to have a minimal amount of information perfectly arranged and never disturbed. Sort of like Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman". |

According to Colin Powell's speech to the UN on Feb. 5th, 2003: a.. Abu Musaq Zaqarwi: poison terror training center, including ricin. Photo of factory at Kurmal. One pinch kills in 72 hours, no antidote. a.. Developed with al Qaeda safe haven in Kurdish NE Iraq, where Saddam has agent. a.. Terrorists have gathered in Baghdad for 8 months. Is this the same Colin Powell who has said that the Bush administration
has deliberately kept him misinformed, and who said that he in turn mislead the UN? NOYB wrote: According to Colin Powell's speech to the UN on Feb. 5th, 2003: a.. Abu Musaq Zaqarwi: poison terror training center, including ricin. Photo of factory at Kurmal. And this is proof of Saddam's involvement... how? ... One pinch kills in 72 hours, no antidote. Other than to invoke panic, is there any reason that the effectiveness of the poison is evidence against Saddam? a.. Developed with al Qaeda safe haven in Kurdish NE Iraq, where Saddam has agent. Trying to help or hurt? Considering that Al Queda had several times publicly declared Saddam Hussein to be one of their biggest enemies, it seems unlikely to me that an "Al queda safe haven" in territory controlled by enemies of Saddam is very good proof he was involved in the Sept 11th attack. a.. Terrorists have gathered in Baghdad for 8 months. In contact with al- Zaqarwi. Which terrorists? Gathering for what purpose? It seems very murky and incomplete to me. OTOH the simple facts are that the Sept 11th terrorists were Saudis and Egyptian. Have we seen any anti-terrorist operations in Egypt on Saudi Arabia? But wait, there's more. The Turks were among our best allies in the Middle East, now they are coming to hate us. The Syrians were very cooperative in anti-terrorist operations, now Bush & Cheney have slapped them with sanctions and they are likely to begin aiding & abetting them. North Korea is closer than ever to having an atom bomb, and Bush & Cheney have done nothing about that. Furthermore, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld's policy of deliberately flouting the Geneva Convention seems to be skating closer and closer to a war crimes issue. Their politicization of the U.S. intelligence community is making it less and less effective. This is just a short list, and makes it readily apparent that Bush & Cheney's strategy seems curiously ineffective in fighting terrorism. OTOH it is tremendously effective in generating profits for military contractors starting with Halliburton of course. DSK |
