Mike Meyers, John Candy, Captain James Tiberius Kirk, Robert Goulet,
Lorne Greene - a whole panaoply of Canadians have fled the Great White
North to take advantage the economy here in the US.

Let's face it folks, Canada would be much better off if it just
recognized the fact that it's a suburb of the US and just join up and
get it over with.

Just think, it would be the largest state in the Union if it did. :)

I know Bert was just funnin' and since there are so many Canadian

We like to think we're the way the US could & should be.

A number have never gotten over the big loses they endured in the
1700's. They actually controlled from here all the way down to the Gulf
Coast before the your colonists and British beat them.

You couldn't ask for a better neighbor than Canada, a free, democratic,

I've been going to Canada for pleasure and business since I was seven
years old (my dad bought wood boats from Nova Scotia back then, and I
got to go with him on a couple of trips), I've been to Canada dozens of
times, and I love going there.


Most Canadians and Americans can and do get along just fine. We even
have a certain yahoo factor out in Alberta that Bert would warm up to.
The Acadian French in this area are are a warm friendly people and close
relatives of your Cajuns. That's why I find it funny when Bert or
someone else trashes all Canadians...we're almost as diversified as
south of the border. If Bert doesn't like a sensible Maritimer, he
might love a brash hard drinking Calgarian.
