Okay, who stole the good-quality fishing pliers I bought last year?

I was stocking up my fishing bag and my three pair of el cheapo fishing
pliers are right where I left them, but the good Van Staal titanium
needle nose pliers are...GONE!!!

Which one of you bozos was in my garage?

'fess up or I'll UPS a box full of used kitty litter to your house.

You have 24 hours.

For what could you possibly need such high quality fishing pliers?

No need at all. I found them at a bargain price on eBay last year. Even
at the bargain price, they were far more expensive than I needed. But
they are nice.

Oh. They've been found. My lovely bride said they were in a drawer in
her bathroom, and she was right. Now, why didn't it occur to me to look
there?

Well, you sure didn't need them for those *25 croaker* you caught just outside
Herring Bay, hee hee!

Since I use only barbless circle hooks, I rarely need them for getting a
hook out of a fish.

When you hee hee, I'm reminded of a toothless old hillbilly.

Hee, hee!

$200+ (retail) stinky pliers used to remove fish hooks found in his *brides*
private bathroom drawer.

Indeed.

(Holding back my laughter)

John,
Can you imagine not being able to find a pair of pliers, and making a post
in rec.boats. Seems like another excuse to make up a story about what
wonderful toys Harry owns. ; )

I have to ask:

What will a $100 pair of pliers do that a $15 pair wont' do?

How can you lose a tool that you use on your boat, how far can it go?

Is it possible this is just another one of those stories you like to tell?

They look real pretty mounted in a frame over the fire place?

SHEEESSSHHHH!!! It's been a year since I checked this NG and the
asshole is still struttin' his stuff. It's hard to believe a dickhead
like Harry can carry this crap on and on and on. Why don't they rename
this group to rec.Harry?
That's it --- stick a fork in him -- what a waste of bandwidth.
So sue me, and kiss the place on me that looks like Harry.

Yeah, you're right: these anonymous jerks (aka "Smithers", one and all)
are really getting out of hand. My only advice is to killfile them as
quickly as possible when they nymshift.

I thought I was so secure with myself that I could handle more than one
handle.

Can you imagine being such an insecure asshole that you need 50 different
"Smithers" handles to post to rec.boats?

Garth,
RegH was talking about Harry not Smithers.

If I'd spent almost $100 for a pair of pliers, I'd be too embarrassed to tell
anyone, unless I was a braggart of course.
