Default A fun time

I had the pleasure of entertaining a youngster this afternoon - Daryl
a Downs child and his chaperon Mike on Webster Lake. This was Daryl's
first time fishing, being in a boat and he had the time of his life.

Oddly, it was also Mike's first time fishing - 25 years old to boot.

They both had a terrific time driving the Ranger and fishing for
sunfish. The surprise of the afternoon was Daryl's two pound
smallmouth taken on a shiner fished at 20 feet on a drop shot rig.

Somehow, afternoons like this put things into perspective.

I still remember my first trip fishing, my uncle took me out in a row boat
and we fished for bluegills. Caught a mess and brought back to his place and
had them for dinner. Thanks for the memories

Great! I've got a neighbor kid who has Down's, he's a great kid! He
does help put things into perspective, as you say. He's delighted by
the things in life that we take for granted. One day, he said to me, "I
think I'd like to come over for supper"!!!! " So, my wife cooked up his
favorite meal, spaghetti, and we had him over! He brought a camera to
take pictures of the whole event, etc!!!!!

Nah, you do much more than act like a jerk. You act like a childish
