Got a call from Number 1 daughter while just waking up. They got a new
dog
yesterday, so were up early. Only bad part of the day. Other daughter
caller at a more reasonable time. Their gift did not arrive yet, so
Father's day is continued until UPS arrives. Thought of taking the boat
out, but cool and breezy, so went up to Mt. Diable State Park and did some
hiking. Wife gave me a gift certificate for 45 laps in a rent a race car
at
the local 1/2 mile oval. Life is good. Did have to buy a new battery and
tach for the boat yesterday. Figured the batter was crap and did not last
long. Was a 2001 battery and ran low on water. So that was acceptable.

Sounds pretty normal for the battery. The 45 laps sounds great! A brother
of
mine got a free 'flying lesson' up in the Seattle area. That sounded like
something I'd enjoy also.
