OT Thanks for Homeland Security

Man, I'm sure glad that BushCo has spent millions on the Homeland
Security Act. First, they got those pesky terrorists who were such
blatant evil-doers that they were selling downloads of Star Wars on the
internet! Now, a couple of young boys in northern GA were arrested for
"terroristic acts". What were they doing? They were sitting on a small
hill by a state hwy. and took a couple of shots at passing cars with a
Daisy BB gun! Whew, if not for Homeland Security, those terrible, nasty
terrorists would still be free.

I don't know about the star wars stuff but my uncle had his eye shot out
with a bb gun. He now has a glass eye. I find no innocence in shooting at
cars with a bb gun. It isn't a joke when you lose an eye.

Larry, Kevin Noble (basskisser, JimDandy, altman2) is the resident idiot.

This is what happens when Kevin tries to post an idea of his own, without
cutting and pasting the thoughts of others from news stories. He obviously
finds it normal and legal to shoot bbguns at passing cars on highways.

That's our Kevin.

Larry, for you information and clarification, I never said that losing

Jim where did you EVER get the idea that I think it "normal and legal
to shoot bb guns at passing cars on the highway"? Did I say that?
Where? You are stooping to JohnH's level and saying things about me
that I've NEVER, EVER said! How low can you go? As for the kids with
the bb guns- yes, they were in the wrong. But, I think it's absurd and
stupid for them to be branded terrorists because of BushCo's need to
have full and total control of the country's citizens. Sounds like the
Nazis to me!

In closing, it's a shame to see you backslide to childish insults and
petty name calling. Now, I've asked twice, I'll ask again. Will you be
man enough to apologize when you finally find out that I'm not Kevin
Noble?

Sorry, but many states have a "Terroristic Threat" Law. Most are related
to terrorizing a person, and predate Homeland Security. New Jersey's is
typical:

Terroristic threats

2C:12-3. Terroristic threats
a. A person is guilty of a crime of the third degree if he threatens
to commit any crime of violence with purpose to terrorize another or
to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of
public transportation, or otherwise to cause serious public
inconvenience, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such
terror or inconvenience.

b. A person is guilty of a crime of the third degree if he threatens
to kill another with purpose to put him in imminent fear of death
under circumstances reasonably causing the victim to believe the
immediacy of the threat and the likelihood that it will be carried
out.

L.1978, c. 95, s. 2C:12-3, eff. Sept. 1, 1979; L.1981, c. 290, s. 15,
eff. Sept. 24, 1981.

Sheriff's Spokeswoman Nicole Ebbeskotte says detectives are still
hoping to get x-rays which might help determine what injured a
14-year-old girl who was hit in the head as she rode in the car with
her mom on Ball Ground Highway June 8.

"Because of the way it struck the juvenile, we are not able to get full
access to the projectile," Ebbeskotte tells WSB. "So we might not ever
know if it was truly a bullet or what it actually was."

Police haven't found the weapon the 15-year-old suspect allegedly used
in the girl's shooting, though he is reportedly cooperating with the
investigation. All three teens are charged with terroristic acts, and
were released into their parents' custody.

So what does this have to do with federal authorities and homeland
security
Kevin?

And how about a link to that story?

Who the hell said it had anything to do with local authorities? I take
it that you don't even understand the what in, and the workings of, the
Homeland Security act????? Hint: Local authorities can arrest people
for terroristic acts UNDER the Homeland Security act. It is a not a

Tim June 16th 05 09:44 PM

And no, federal law
inforcement wasn't involved, as far as I know. BUT, the charge of
terroristic threat IS from the Homeland Security Act.

I wouldn't call action taken by locak law enforcement as being "Nazi"
and no Federal action? even though these young turks actions fall
under th "Homeland Security Act"

hmmmm

Man, I'm sure glad that BushCo has spent millions on the Homeland
Security Act. First, they got those pesky terrorists who were such
blatant evil-doers that they were selling downloads of Star Wars on the
internet! Now, a couple of young boys in northern GA were arrested for
"terroristic acts". What were they doing? They were sitting on a small
hill by a state hwy. and took a couple of shots at passing cars with a
Daisy BB gun! Whew, if not for Homeland Security, those terrible, nasty
terrorists would still be free.

Are you happy now Kevin?

You posted OT.

Your subject was "OT: Thanks to Homeland Security".

Your story was about some local boys busted for shooting out car windows
with bb guns on local highways (potentially fatal) and were charged with
local/regional/state highway terrorist crimes.

You were proved that your *story* had nothing to do with Homeland Security
despite your subject of "Homeland Security".

Feeling the fool, yet once again?

No need to answer.
