Default Why need anchor chain?
3/8" chain= 10 ' weighs about 4

OOPS.

Make that 3/16", not 3/8. Obviously 3/8 would be heavier than 1/4".

A 10 foot length of 3/8" chain weighs about 14 pounds. You'd only get 20 feet.
Not enough.
