don't, as a matter of fact, much of either Tyson or Jesse. On the
other hand,
I hold Mohammed Ali and Bill Cosby in the highest regard. Does that
somehow show
me to be racist? Or apologist?

Agreed!

Gould,
Have you ever listened to Richard Pryor, Cedric the Entertainer, Bill Cosby,
Bill Murray, Freddy Prince, Chris Rock and the list goes on and on. Every
single one of these comedians have used stereotypes in their humor. I don't
think of any of the them as racists. Do you? Do you find racist everywhere
you look?

Comedy can be a very effective tool when addressing serious issues. I
wonder why Gould and Harry have failed to hear Ebonics on TV, in
movies, on
hip hop and videos and in the real world. Is it possible that they are
the
racist?

******

There is a difference between hearing it, and holding it up to ridicule
as the punch line for a joke.

Telling jokes that rely on racial stereotypes to be funny is racist-
just as using racial stereotypes for any other purpose is racist.

Gould,
Don't forget "the king of racists", Dave Chappelle, the Fe-Fi-Fo joke would
make all of his humor look very tame. Dave and his audience, black, white,
red, yellow, orange and purple people all enjoy his "racist" humor.

The humor is your self righteous behavior.

I'd expect such crap from Krause or basskisser.

Not so sure of Bill Cosby anymore....

... I'm frequently pretty ridiculous, as are we
all.

....as evidenced by your standardized, stereotypical response to the joke.

That was in March, and I think it's been cleared up.

So, is it supposed to be funny because we're laughing at the ethnic
speech, or because we're laughing at a physical disability?
