What are rotten stingers?
Thanks "Mike" wrote in message ... My father-in-law had a ThunderCraft, Solid boat. seats can be ordered/made. Watch for rotten stringers. A 105 H.P. Chrysler did it proud. You'll get out of it what you put into it. Happy boating. Mike SHIZNAZ "Jason" wrote in message news:avnbc.164674$Cb.1657153@attbi_s51... I don't know much about boats. Infact never even owned one. This guy that is one of my customers said he would sell me his boat. It is a 1976 Thunder Craft. Mercury Motor about 80 horses he thinks. Hydraulic lift and tilt trailer. Fiberglass deck and the rest of the boat is fiberglass. The condition of the boat is bad. All the seats are torn and stuff. So, is Mercury a good engine? Is it worth it to pay $250 if the engine runs? Thanks, Jason |
