One of my exhaust elbows is hotter then the other when idleing on the earmuffs. I just had the exhaust flaps replaced. Basically i can keep my hand on the elbow for about 5-10 seconds before i need to remove them. The other elbow seems hot but i can keep my hand on longer. It also seems that the rear of the elbow is exteremely hotter then the front, i'm assuming because the cool water enters from the front of the elbow. I have a normal temperature range so i'm not sure if this will be a potential problem once i'm out on the lake. any advice is appreciated. When on the muffs are you getting a good flow of water from each side of the exhaust? My flow is about the same from each side. When the riser on the starboard side was plugged, the flow on that side was nil. -- John H "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ...." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003 |
