I think i'm gonna.. It's a fairly simple job to do... i got a used exahuast
manifold put in last season. but there's still the elbow and the other side
exhaust manifold and elbow.. Should i replace both the manifold and elbow
on the other side? I know you said visual inspection will only reveal
little but is there a way to tell or jus treplace em?

I'll second John's evaluation. Visual inspection of the riser, manifold,
or elbow will only reveal a small portion of the interior. Ten years is a
damn good run for a cast iron part, and continued usage (particularly when
you're already showing symptoms of blockage) is gambling with a very large
downside. Replace "em.
