Shamrock boats have a keel with full-length skeg, which protects
propeller and rudder in shallow waters. The boat is shallow draft, and
the keel and shoe shield the prop and rudder from grounding and
obstructions. This allows the rudder and propeller to be fully
functional even if grounded.

In quiet and medium seas the boat tracks straight with little if any
helm adjustments. And in heavy seas it tracks straight without a lot of

helm action. At speed it turns quicker and flatter than any outboard or

stern drive. No skip, no slide, no lean. Uses less fuel and maintenance

than OBs and IOs. This craft has only two moving parts in the drive
train, a simple strut and shaft in alignment. One simple, efficient,
durable gas powered engine, mounted inboard where it lowers the center
of gravity, maximizes stability, and permits a big, uncluttered cockpit

for fishing or just cruising. And with no out drive or lower unit to
contend with it is easy to clean and keep clean below the water
surface.
