CN,

This is in no way an attempt to defend Harry, but Oxalic Acid is an
excellent cleanser. The MSDS says nothing about it's capability as a
cleaning agent. Lots of cleaning agents are nasty. How about this one that I
use for concrete: http://ptcl.chem.ox.ac.uk/MSDS/HY/hy...oric_acid.html
Nasty stuff, but I'd never use it in my boat g.

Over the winter, I stored my sailboat in a shed at our lake.
Unfortunately, the mice took over making it their home.

I have cleaned the boat the best that I can using detergent, but there
are still a lot of areas where the fiberglass is stained.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to eliminate these
stains?

Thanks,

Mice have fleas. Fleas **** dried blood. In other words - iron i.e. rust
stains.

Your supermarket should have a product called "Wink" in a little brown
bottle. It's great for rust stains. Follow the instructions.

Don't listen to Krause - he's an idiot.

I suspect that I would score 40 points higher than you on any
standardized IQ test, Kneel. You're far closer to "idiot" than I'll ever
be.

Your IQ had better come in around the 190 mark, then. And, from your
multiple stupid posts, I'd say you're lucky to come in at more than half
that number (96 or higher in case you can't cypher it, Harry)

Oxalic Acid is a prime stain removal ingredient, including rust stains,
in many boat clean-up products. Perhaps you might drink some; for you it
might be an alternative to that Sterno you usually sip in between plugs
of your chaw.

It's also dangerous and stupid to use in a boat or on a boat.

Get your head out of your ass, Harry.
