Over the winter, I stored my sailboat in a shed at our lake.
Unfortunately, the mice took over making it their home.

I have cleaned the boat the best that I can using detergent, but there
are still a lot of areas where the fiberglass is stained.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to eliminate these
stains?

Thanks,

Mice have fleas. Fleas **** dried blood. In other words - iron i.e. rust
stains.

Your supermarket should have a product called "Wink" in a little brown
bottle. It's great for rust stains. Follow the instructions.

Don't listen to Krause - he's an idiot.

I suspect that I would score 40 points higher than you on any standardized
IQ test, Kneel. You're far closer to "idiot" than I'll ever be.

Oxalic Acid is a prime stain removal ingredient, including rust stains, in
many boat clean-up products.

It's in Bar Keepers Friend, too...which is what I was going to suggest.

Yes it is. Although I'm not much of a Bar Keepers Friend fan - never
seems to work right for me. Other's swear by it.

However, I have had very good success with good old PLAIN Soft Scrub.
I don't know why, but does a good job on fiberglass stains.

SoftScrub and a Dobie usually does it for me.

Soft Scrub, a brush and terry cloth are my preferred choice of stain
removal tools. :)
