Thanks John! Great that it's near the Moose, a river on my "hit list" this
year. Mike "John Fereira" wrote in message .. . "Grip" wrote in : Sounds like a hoot! Although some I would bring along will enjoy that type of paddling, I personally have an allergy.....to flat water....is there anything local in the area say class III-IV? Thanks much! The Clinton Regatta isn't really fla****er. It's a 70 mile race from the source of the Susquehanna to the town of Bainbridge. I don't think there's anything at a class III level but it's moving water nevertheless. If you're looking for more challenging whitewater the Moose river is a couple of hours away. It has everything from class I to some pretty tough class V stuff. The class V section begins with Fowlersville falls, a 45' slide at about a 60 degree angle. http://www.dreamscape.com/kkemp/moose/fowlersville.htm |
