Ah, and that's exactly the crux of the matter with you "liberals".

Morality or legality means little or nothing to you. This might be
because those like yourself who take such a position are themselves
immoral, and must defend others immoral like themselves.

President Clinton abused the power of his office by taking advantage of
an employee (and a women), but that is a non-sequiter to fellow
im.moral.ists and phony feminists.

krause is, by the way, a good example of this, having been a easy case
study in immorality defending immorality.

If this post does not get a rise out of you, kanter, then you really are
a stooge of krause, who sent you an email telling you not to reply to me.

Let me make sure I understand you correctly. Let's say that today you're an
electrician with 30 years' worth of experience. Tomorrow, you somehow end up
in bed with a woman who's not your wife. Are you saying that the moment that
happens, your trade skills vanish?

This is a simple yes or no question. Do your trade skills vanish? Yes, or
no. No other comments. Yes, or no.

Yeah, but let's say I was a gigolo and my wife was coming through the
door with a butcher knife. Then what happens to this line of argument?

No.

If you catch the electrician in your bed with your wife, are you going
to have him finish the job? (The electrical job!)

Yes, or no. No other comments. Yes, or no.

Yes. He'll feel guilty and indebted to me. When he's done, I'd kill him.

I thought we did that already. Your point is that if someone's behavior
doesn't align with your moral compass, their entire history of expertise is
erased.

No, but it is certainly suspect.

What is your point? That we don't need moral and ethical standards at all?
Or that there shouldn't be punitive measures in place for those that cross
over the line?

If moral and ethical standards concern you, you cannot be a Bush supporter.

I can't support Kerry either...

Should all Lawyers that have been disbarred be allowed to practice again?
Should all Doctors who have had their licenses revoked be allowed to do

the

I simply used Pete Rose in a analogy of sorts and you blew it all out of
proportions and original intent.

I certainly hope you're not involved in the legal profession. You really do
NOT have the mind for such things. Punitive issues are appropriate when
crimes have been committed or professional standards violated. But YOU
suggested that someone's knowledge or expertise are diminished if they
crossed over a certain line, whether that line be moral or legal. That is
absolutely absurd.

You turned it into that. However that wasn't and still isn't my original
point.
