Default Boat Show: Yamaha is clobbering the competition

Maybe this proves Brunswick's allegation that Yamaha is now "dumping" its
engines (selling below cost) in the states to eliminate the competition. (I say
this with tongue in cheek!)

Maybe this big price reduction will be passed on to the consumer to offset
higher gasoline prices predicted to be $2.50 - $3.00 a gallon just as boating
season begins in the northeast.

However, Genmar and Grady-White claim that the Yamahas are still more expensive
than Mercs, Johnsons, and Suzuki.
