Does Boat Color Matter For Fishing
My Pop once said to paint the boat the same shade of green as the plant life in the water. Bass see in color, so the green does not spook them. He may have had something, because in that old green, gps-less, non-electronic rowboat, we used to haul 'em in. Better catches then we get nowdays for sure. -- Capt. Hi, I am having a boat shipped to me and at first the color I had chosen was an aluminum color (light grey). However, when I saw the off white model of the boat I thought.. man. that is a beautiful boat. My boat will mainly be used to take me and my boys fishing. I've noticed that some boats have dark hulls and some have white. For fishing, in all honesty does it matter what color the bottom of your boat is? |
