I know of at least one NG member who still docks there.

What made the marina especially nice was the drive up feature to your
boat, with a nice strip of grass between your car and your boat. Plenty
of room under a tree for a picnic bench, dock box and chairs.

Here is a picture of some old friends of ours at their dock. They were
perhaps a dozen or so docks away from us.
