What made the marina especially nice was the drive up feature to your boat, with a nice strip of grass between your car and your boat. Plenty of room under a tree for a picnic bench, dock box and chairs. Here is a picture of some old friends of ours at their dock. Jim, although a small club, and in a very small town, the Port Dover Yacht Club, Port Dover, Ontario has remarkably similar features. If you belong to a club that is a member of the ILYA (Inter Lake Yachting Association), PDYC used to allow a couple of nights free stay and bar/restaurant charges made automatically to your own club.
