I had a marina neighbor who had the Regal 420, the exterior looked like your
typical bubble boat, but the interior was very plush.

Interesting. I recently received this in my email box from them:

Commodore 4260
Heads turn quicker. Hearts beat faster. And a lifestyle is expressed
instantly in the eloquent lines and luxury of the 4260. Her breathtaking
beauty, the exquisitely crafted Cherrywood interior and stunning Ocean Trac
performance have won accolades worldwide and stimulated a legion of
home-grown imitators. Yet, unduplicated in all aspects of design and
completeness, the 4260 achieves best in class and measurably exceeds the
expectations of the world's most sophisticated yacht owners.

Regal is a family owned and operated company that is now celebrating
over 30 years in business. We build pleasure boats from 17' to 41'
encompassing everything from our LSR runabouts to the world class Commodore
express cruisers. Our distribution is operated by some of the top dealers
and distributors in the business with locations in more than 45 countries
worldwide.

Regal is also a world leader in innovation, receiving the
industries prized IMTEC innovation award for our FasTrac hull design.
FasTrac is credited with providing exceptional performance with less
horsepower, meaning more efficiency and savings for our customers. You can
learn how the FasTrac hull works by clicking here.
Being a family owned company, we are concerned for your family
as well, and that's why safety is a key factor in our design process.
Standard features like transom trailering lights, side mirrors, deep
cockpits and windshield vents aid in keeping your family safe

Recently, Regal extended its leadership role in a hallmark
event by becoming ISO 9001:2002 certified. As a globally accepted model for
quality system standards, ISO 9001:2002 will accentuate Regal's mission by
continuing to provide exceptional customer satisfaction. Very few boat
companies in the world have achieved this certification. Regal is also proud
to back its product with one of the best warranty packages in the industry.
Every Regal boat is backed by a Limited Lifetime Structural Hull Warranty
that is also transferable to a second owner within the first 5 years.

JimH,
I had a buddy that had a 27' Regal. Very nice boat.

I have heard that they indeed build a quality boat now. I have been on a
few and liked the layout and attention to details.

The only thing I don't buy is that ISO 9000 crap. All it means is that a
manufacturer consistently builds a product to a given standard. They can
build a crappy product consistently and still be ISO 9000 certified.

Things are changing though as others saw that flaw in the current ISO 9000
certification process. They have a new certification process in the works.
I don't know what it is called though.

You'll find this difficult to believe, but most people actually have
friends and many of those friends have boats. How sad would life be if
one had to assume that any mention of a "friend" was a lie? That's
almost as mysterious as non-boaters hanging out in a boating NG just to
take pot-shots at specific participants.

so what is your point?

Do you have proof of what you have said???

I have proof that krause is a cold hard liar, concrete evidence of well over
a dozen lies, others here have also proven the fool a liar,,, so why would
you defend a proven, known liar??
