Hey, stupid...it's the economy...

It could be worse. If we had elected Captain Planet (Al Gore), he
would have implemented carbon taxes to save us from the global warming
myth and we'd be paying over $3.00/gallon now.

Nice recovery you got going, Dubya...

With the price of fuel, there will have to be car pools to the polls.

$1.65 today for regular. Thanks, Dubya.

I guess that's a matter of opinion. I can't imagine anything worse
than the smirking chimp in chief we've got running the show now, but
it appears about 47% of the population don't agree.

No way to prove or disprove that opinion.

myth

What part of the global warming situation do you think is a myth, and
why?

and we'd be paying over $3.00/gallon now.

IMO, the best thing that could happen is $5.00 a gallon gas, with
$4.95 of that consisting of taxes. Even at our appointed presidents
pace of increased spending, we could balance the budget. And, as an
added bonus, we could starve the very people who finance middle
eastern terrorists. The only problem with that being it would involve
some short term self sacrifice from the American consuming public.

Big difference between real gas prices today and your silly
hypothetical.

The hole in the ozone layer gets bigger and smaller with the seasons.
Depending upon when you take your measurements of the hole's size you can
use the data to your advantage. Along with this is a recent article that
states the the Amazon rain forest is performing better than before in
scrubbing the air even though its size has been reduced.

And who the hell said that a species has to last forever. The dinosaurs came
and went and we are better for it. Someday humnas time on this planet will
end, maybe by their own hand and maybe not.

If the Saudis help us get rid of Dubya by keeping fuel prices high while
preventing economic recovery, I'd be happy to pay $2.50 a gallon for my
twin 454 gas hogs all summer long.

Imagine that! A democrat hoping for lousy economic conditions so that his
party can benefit from them. You guys are a sick, demented bunch.

Those aren't the only people who would starve. If our fuel costs triple, so
does the cost of consumer goods...and groceries.

Geez...it was a $1.62 in June, 2000. You're gonna whine about a three cent
increase in 4 years?

But, what was it in February of 2000? It can hardly be called whining,
when you, like the rest of BushCo, spin like that! You just pick what
statistics you choose, huh? Just remember, that can be done in
reverse, too. Would you like an example?

This only works with people who have short term memory disorder, Bertie
Poop.

The real data is collected over a period of years and decades, not four
seasons.

You short termers are so easily misled.
