OT Cananda...Home of the slughtered

Oh the great civilized country of Canada, with its social programs and
total respect for human rights. It's a place where a hypocritical
liberal can still plunge an ice pick through the skull of a young seal
and still wash the blood off his/her cloths and be ready by noon to
demonstrate against the evil and barbaric Americans.
It no wonder why all the american lefty's want to move there.

I see nothing wrong with taking an animal for food.

Funny, I read the entire item and I didn't see a single reference to
"liberals" anywhere.

Seal meat is delicious! It's right up there with deer meat and caribou.
Hunting for food & fur for clothing has been a tradition for the people of
Newfoundland for centuries.

Not only that, the seals compete with fishermen for the few cod still
swimming out there.
The original poster should question the ranchers outside Yellowstone Park
why they want to kill the wolves Canada was generous enough to donate a
while back.

They used to club them until the WWF got pictures of that.
I'd prefer they shoot them to make death quick & painless as possible. I see
Richard Dean Anderson is the poster boy celeb this year. A few years ago
Martin Sheen was the man. His motel was surrounded on the Madeline Islands
and he got a good scare before retreating by helicopter.

Then you must get violently upset about the two major reasons they're killed,
i.e., their pelts and their penises!

How about the hunting outfitters outside jellystone? All gone along with
the wild elk and bison.
