18 not towing. Towing I get 14-16. Depending on speed and hills. I have a tendency to exceed the 55 mph speed limit while towing. That's still pretty good. I've occasionally pondered moving to a diesel pick-up for towing and the ability to add a camper. -rick- |

I have a Palomino B-800 pop up camper on the truck Short bed, crew cab, and the camper weighs about 1100#. With the camper and towing I get about 13.9 according to the truck computer. The camper is really nice, takes about 5 minutes to set up and only is about 8-10" above the truck cab. Has a queen size bed over the cab. They make models for long beds also. Bill |

Nice thing is I am pulling out a Ford 351W Kodiak engine and the electrical hookup requires me to unplug the Ford and plug in the chevy motor. Same plug pattern for 14 years. |
