Having driven in Italy, by motorcycle, I can tell you that Italian drivers are the scariest bunch of people on the planet. They like to go fast and stop for nothing. The Italians have wasted a lot of money on their equivalent of 'yield' signs! Of course, it could be that an Italian wasn't driving, in which case I have no idea what was going on.
