Default Someone Burglarized My Boat! $2500 Reward!

Sorry to be a bit late with this post, but I've been busy.

On February 22nd I discovered that my boat was broken in to and my tackle,
tools, generator, EPIRB, flare kit, etc, were stolen.

I am offering a $2500 reward to find the creep.

Details he http://groups.msn.com/FishWishersHom...500reward.msnw

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

I am now pretty much restored. I have a new door installed and was out
fishing Wednesday and Thursday. Lots of stuff needs to be replaced yet, but
I'm well on my way. The fish were a bit disgruntled that I was back on the
water so quickly, but I just couldn't let that thief screw up my life any
more than he already did!

I'm sure the thieves will be glad to know that there is now more stuff on
your boat to steal.

As I tow my trailered boat to the fenced, locked storage yard, I pass a
neighbor's boat parked in his side yard, uncovered, electronics out for
weather and everyone else to see. He'll probably never suffer a loss...
but it is even less likely that I will suffer a loss due to theft.

Methinks you are a bit too sure of yourself.

My boat is kept in a gated community's RV lot with 8' fencing and razor wire
all around it. It's been safe and secure there for five years. The RV lot is
lighted all night long. But apparently someone followed another resident
through the gate one night and that's all it took. If you think your
precautions mean much, just remember that we can usually keep only honest
folks honest, the bad ones can usually hit if they want to bad enough.

I'm sure the thieves will be glad to know that there is now more stuff on
your boat to steal.

Thank you for your support.

That's too bad.

But a worldwide appeal for a petty theft? And you don't even say where on
the planet you are. Please.

It could have been, most likely, done by one of your neighbours in the lot.
This happened to me with my snowmobile when it was parked in the snowmobile
club's parking lot.

The entire planet is supposed to load and study your Microsoft-spammed-up
Web page to find out if this is even in their hemisphere?

Should we assume your boat was even near home?

You can't be bothered to just tell us in the Subject header? Yet you
command our attention?

No, Richey, nobody is *supposed* to do anything and I don't *command*
anything of anyone. But with my reward offer of $2500 I've had a thousand
hits on my "spammed up web page" in a bit over a week. It's a free site. Ads
pay the way. And I have the reward info out to a lot of people. If it's too
much trouble for you, just move along.

On normal weeks I have about a hundred hits. I don't sell anything there,
there's no "adult content", I do no advertising to get hits. I just tell
about my activities and my boat and a goodly number of people visit every
week. Over the years I've had a fair number of folks email their
appreciation for all the fishing info and the entertainment value of the
site. See, Richey, I actually go boating and fishing. I do things, I have a
life. There's more to living than just slamming the activities of other
people. You oughta try it sometime.

In nearly four years nobody has bitched about my homepage 'til you. If you
find it too difficult to click on the link, don't click. I can deal with
that. Why can't you?

But hey, I'd love to visit your active, up to date, spam free personal
homepage. What's the URL?

Now, Harry, did that story not finally end up with the bad guy being pinned
by your car or something like that? I remember that story from some years
ago, but I don't remember that you shot anyone. But, tell the story again,
I'll pretend it was my burglar you got.

Hell, I'd shoot a boat thief for a free lunch, too. With Jed or George or
George. Or for no lunch at all!
