I don't know about today, but it has fallen around Miami.

What I find more surprising, to the best of my knowledge, Miami has never
had a temperature of 100 degrees. It seems the temps, at least in the
summer, are in the 90s almost daily, but has never hit three digits.

You could count on one hand the number of times it has hit 100 since I've
lived in Naples. But for some reason, everybody thinks it's too hot in the
Summer.

Was out in Colorado one time and it was 115 in the shade (near Pueblo in
July), felt a lot cooler than Miami at 90..........something about the
15% humidty in Colorado

Well, it's not too hot if you go from your AC house, to your AC car, to
your AC office. ;-) I suspect many Southerners spend close to as much
time indoors, in the summer, as Northerners spend indoors in the winter.

========================

Not really true. The summer here is for spending time outdoors at
night. It is wonderful to sit around your pool or on your boat in the
evening. We were rarely able to do that in the northeast, not even in
July or August.

It's a thing called humidity. Anyone with any sense knows that
temperature isn't the only factor in comfort. When I went to CA after
living in Florida for a number of years, I couldn't believe the
difference in 90ish weather there, compared to the same in FL.
