Identity theft is a serious matter. Whoever posted under your Usenet
"handle" is not guilty of identify theft. "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Is there anyone over in England that's able to search one book in the Guildhall Library? I'm in Australia and am researching the Nellie. I was told that at one stage she had been insured by Lloyds of London. Im sailing over next week. What can I do for you? I've emailed them and they've given some basic information on a Nellie, official number 94170. I don't know whether it's one and the same as our Nellie. It's hopeful, though. I'm sorry to have to inform you that you've been "taken in" by a rec.boats smartass who engages in identity theft and poses as me while he is here. It's very easy for anyone to do this. I did not respond to your post. The smartass who pretends to be me did. The "Harry Krause" imitator posts from a Roadrunner internet services provider, apparently in the Columbus, Ohio, area. I do not have a Roadrunner account. I'm considering complaining to Roadrunner. Identity theft can be a serious matter. |
