Depending on how strictly you define "walkaround", you might like the
Luhrs 30. Great little diesel fishing boat.

Rampage also has a new diesel powered 30-foot "walkaround".

I like that boat a lot. Boating had retail on it listed at $99k. Is that
right? Sounds cheap.

Carolina Classic has a 28 and a 32.

The problem with all of these "walkarounds" is that you really can't walk
around them when fighting a fish. The Contender 31 Center Cabin is a true
"walkaround". The True World has adequate foot space to walk around on too.
believe that the only true diesel walkaround out there is the True World.

I have a Proline 211 walkaround cuddy. I have gone around the cuddy many times
fighting fish without a problem. Of course, the waves weren't in the 3-5' range
either.

I'm not sure what the retail is on a new one, but I agree that $99k
sounds cheap- almost like a gas engine price.

I'm still not convinced that diesels are cheaper to run than the DI
type outboards.

Usually the real issue is range, not running cost. For the same tank
capacity range is about double with a diesel. Reliabilty/longevity
is usually better with diesel also.

But doesn't range equate to efficiency?
